Privacy Policy

CompareEPC is operated by David Paxton, trading as CompareEPC ("we"). This site is a static publication: no accounts, and no personal information is required to read anything on it.

What we collect, and why

Waitlist and digest signups. If you join the alerts waitlist we collect your email address and the page you signed up from (so future alerts can be relevant to your niches). Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and may be synced to our email provider to send the digest. We use your email only to send what you signed up for; every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.

Contact form. If you use the contact form we collect the name, email and message you submit, solely to reply. Also processed by Netlify Forms.

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 in consent mode with storage denied by default: no analytics cookies are set unless consent is granted, and measurement is aggregate (pages viewed, referrer, country, anonymous tool interactions such as which programs are entered together in Browse — used to improve matching). The Browse tool's matching runs in your browser; the programs you enter are not linked to your identity.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. Clicking one takes you to a third-party network or merchant whose own privacy policy applies from that point. We do not pass any personal information in those links.

Your rights

You can request a copy of, or the deletion of, any personal data we hold about you (in practice: your email address and any form submissions) via the contact form.
