The supplements market is one of the most crowded categories in affiliate marketing: 1,915 program listings across ten networks, ranging from longevity nootropics to protein powders and CBD tinctures. The average commission rate of 10.8% is roughly double what you would find in travel or mainstream retail, and repeat-purchase dynamics mean a single converted customer can generate commissions across multiple order cycles. The structural problem is the data gap. A 58.9% ghost rate — nearly six in ten listings publishing no earnings-per-click figure at all — means the majority of this market is opaque before you test it.
We cut through 1,915 listings to find the programs where the numbers actually hold up. The vertical median EPC among programs reporting a positive figure is $0.25. The mean ($3.76) is pulled sharply upward by small-sample outliers, including an Impact listing for Echo Water at $2,145.69 that almost certainly reflects a handful of high-value transactions rather than a reliable average. Strip those away and the programs with genuinely defensible performance data sit in the $1.00–$3.17 range, almost all on Skimlinks, which provides the most complete data in this vertical: EPC, conversion rate, reversal rate, and average basket in a single listing. That is the tier this report focuses on.

Programs are ranked by a composite of EPC, data completeness, and underlying metrics. Only programs with sufficient published data are included. The outlier threshold for this vertical is $3.00 (the greater of ten times the median EPC and the absolute $3.00 floor); flags mark values above that line. Conversion rates above 25% are also flagged.

Skimlinks dominates the data-complete tier
779 of the 1,915 supplement program listings (40.7%) are on Skimlinks. More importantly, Skimlinks is the only network that consistently provides EPC, conversion rate, reversal rate, and average basket in a single listing. Commission rates reflect default publisher tiers; negotiated rates may differ. Programs with no performance data (ghost programs) are excluded from averages but included in total counts and the full ledger. The outlier threshold for EPC flags in this vertical is $3.00, calculated as the greater of ten times the median positive EPC ($0.25) and the absolute $3.00 floor.
